Hello Friends of Uplands Park,
We hope that everyone has been keeping well through the covid pandemic.
We are excited to announce the restart of Geoffrey's monthly bird walks on Saturday, July 31. Meet at Cattle Point in the main parking lot in front of the nature kiosks at 8:00 a.m. Fall migration has begun and some of our target species will include Band-tailed Pigeons, Cedar Waxwings, Western Tanagers, Wilson's Warblers, Heermann's Gulls and Black Turnstones. Don't forget your binoculars! All are welcome.
It will be good to be birding together again! Our future bird walks will be on the last weekend of every month (Friday, Saturday or Sunday depending on our karate and birding schedules) starting at 8:00 a.m. year-round. We will always confirm the date via email prior to each bird walk.
David and Geoffrey Newell
