Bowker Creek Brush-Up

Since 2005, this fun, inspiring annual art show hosts 40 or more artists displaying, demonstrating and selling their art outdoors. Plan to spend the day strolling along beautiful Bowker Creek between Oak Bay High School and Hampshire Road, listening to music, enjoying refreshments, participating in the Community Art project, and watching demonstrations by featured international artists. Of course, there is plenty of opportunity to purchase art for yourself and others. For more information, visit the Oak Bay Community Artists Society.

Oak Bay Artists' Studio Tour

View the Artists brochure for spring 2023!

Typically held in the Fall and Spring, the Oak Bay Artists’ Studio Tour is an opportunity to view and purchase visual art by Oak Bay artists. Many of Oak Bay's established and emerging artists use their homes and studios as backdrops to display original watercolour, acrylic, and oil paintings, photography, woodcuts, as well as fibre, glass, and pottery creations. The free tour is produced by Oak Bay Parks, Recreation, and Culture. The tour is self-guided and self-paced, with maps provided by Oak Bay Parks, Recreation, and Culture.
