Carnarvon Park Master Plan

The District of Oak Bay has engaged Lees & Associates to conduct a Master Plan process for the potential redesign and redevelopment of a portion of Carnarvon Park.

The focus of the consultation is the northwest section of the park, which includes the main building, water park, tennis courts and lacrosse box. The existing sports fields and lawn bowling clubhouse and greens are not a major focus of redevelopment planning at this time.

The development of a Master Plan for Carnarvon Park is meant to provide a long range vision and plan to serve the community for the next 20-30 years. The main building, tennis courts and lacrosse box have reached their lifespans and are in need of refurbishment and redevelopment. Similarly, Rotary Water Park is in need of repairs and potential refurbishment. As such your input is valued and important to help guide decisions for the future.

Thank you to all that have completedĀ past surveys and/or have attended past public consultation events. Please see details below forĀ a downloadable Draft Concept Plan.

If you have any questions regarding this process please contact Chris Hyde-Lay, Manager of Parks at 250-592-7275.
