First Aid Courses

Get certified for work, learn the prerequisite first aid for lifeguarding, or be ready to help your family and friends with a Canadian Red Cross first aid course. Choose from CPR C and AED (Automated External Defibrillator), the Occupational First Aid 1 equivalent, Emergency First Aid, or the two-day Standard First Aid. All certifications are valid for three years. Must bring a current certification to recertification.

CPR C and AED

This course teaches the current CPR C, AED, and choking procedures for adults, children, and infants. CPR C is required for lifeguards, medical personnel and paramedics, but is ideal for anyone to have.

Emergency First Aid with CPR C and AED (OFA1 Equivalent)

This one-day Occupational First Aid (OFA 1) equivalent course teaches basic first aid and lifesaving practices. You will learn the current CPR C, AED, and choking practices for adults, children and infants as well as how to deal with basic trauma and first-aid situations.

Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED (OFA1 Equivalent)

This course offers a broad foundation of basic first-aid training, including CPR C, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training, procedures for choking, bleeding, shock, broken bones, medical emergencies, and more.
