Bird Walk with Friends of Uplands Park
Cattle Point Parking Lot
Hello Friends of Uplands Park:
This month's bird walk with Geoffrey is this coming Friday, May 27, 2022. We will meet in the main parking lot at Cattle Point at 8:00 a.m. Spring migration is in full swing and rare birds are turning up all over the Victoria area. So far in the month of May, Geoffrey has found Loggerhead Shrike, Parakeet Auklet, Parasitic Jaeger, Dusky Flycatcher, Western Kingbird, Nashville Warbler, Lazuli Bunting, Bullock's Oriole, Bank Swallow, and Swainson's Hawk. There has been a Dusky Flycatcher and Lazuli Bunting in Uplands Park these last few days, so let's hope to locate them on Friday!
Gumboots are no longer required as the park trails have dried out.
