2026 Property Taxes and Budget

Each year, the District of Oak Bay adopts a five-year financial plan, including the District’s yearly budget.

Your property taxes help fund crucial services in the District of Oak Bay. They help balance the budget after the District of Oak Bay seeks sustainable revenue from other sources.

Municipal taxes make up approximately 59% of your bill. Tax levies from other authorities are also found on the bill collected by the District.
