Event Update: Arts Alive 10-Year Anniversary Opening Celebration & Tour
Due to the risk of thundershowers, tonight’s Arts Alive 10-Year Anniversary Opening Celebration has been modified.
The planned bike tour has been cancelled. The reception has been moved indoors to the Monterey Recreation Centre, and bus tours of the sculptures will continue as scheduled.
Please note: Access to the event is through Monterey Recreation Centre’s entrance off Hampshire Road. Guests arriving through the parkade should use the elevator or the stairwell located beside the elevator to access the reception area. The rear stairwell at the back of the building will not provide access to the event.

6:00-6:30 p.m.
Pre-booked bus tour of the Arts Alive sculptures (for registered participants) starting at Monterey Recreation Centre.
6:30-7:00 p.m.
Opening Reception at Monterey Recreation Centre. Meet the artists, enjoy live music by Malakai, and hear remarks from Mayor Kevin Murdoch.
7:00-7:30 p.m.
Live performance by Malakai at Monterey Recreation Centre.
7:00-7:30 p.m.
Second bus tour of the Arts Alive sculptures.
7:45-8:45 p.m.
Third bus tour of the Arts Alive sculptures.
