If you missed the opportunity to apply to Vote by Mail – You can still vote in person at one of the three voting dates and locations:

What if I applied before the deadline?
If you applied for a vote by mail ballot before the deadline, it has been processed and placed in Canada Post. If you requested to pick up your package in person you will have received an email or phone call indicating your package is ready.
Submitting Your Mail Ballot Package
Completed mail ballot packages may be returned via the following methods:
1. By mail to Oak Bay Municipal Hall at the following mailing address:
District of Oak Bay
2167 Oak Bay Avenue
Victoria, BC V8R 1G2
2. In-person to Municipal Hall during regular business hours or via the external drop box, located at the Oak Bay Avenue entrance to the Hall.
3. In-person at a voting location during an advance voting opportunity (October 7 and 14) or on General Election Day (October 17).
Mail ballot applications will be accepted until 4:30 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
To be counted, your ballot must be received by the Chief Election Officer at either Oak Bay Municipal Hall or a Voting Location by 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 17, 2026. It is the responsibility of the elector to ensure that this deadline is met.
