Currently on Display: ArtWorks Program - Garth Homer Society
ArtWorks is a visual arts program that supports artists who are clients of the Garth Homer Society. The program is designed to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for artistic expression, collaboration, and professional development. ArtWorks is open to all Garth Homer clients who are interested in exploring their creativity and developing their artistic skills.
Participants in the ArtWorks program engage with the Greater Victoria art community and exhibit their work in a variety of venues. The program emphasizes personal identity, self-expression, and the development of artistic skills. Artists receive feedback and support from instructors and peers, and are encouraged to explore new techniques and ideas.

Mission Statement
ArtWorks provides professional visual arts instruction to individuals with developmental disabilities. The program encourages exploration of identity and environment through art and supports personal and artistic growth.

Oak Bay Arts & Culture provides free exhibition space at the Neighbourhood Learning Centre and Henderson Recreation Centre to promote local artists and arts. Oak Bay Artist’s Exhibitions are approximately 2 months in duration. Our facilities are welcoming, public spaces. Artwork should be appropriate for all ages and respectful of diverse cultures and beliefs.
Applications are accepted year-round. A waitlist is maintained.
