Oak Bay Recreation Centre (1975 Bee Street) will be closed from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9 due to a planned BC Hydro power outage for maintenance on their equipment. The Centre will reopen once BC Hydro’s work is complete and facility operations are ready to resume.

Open: 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. (last admission at 8:30 a.m.)
Closed due to Planned Outage: 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Re-opening: 5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (last admission at 9:30 p.m.)
If BC Hydro’s work is completed ahead of schedule, Oak Bay Recreation Centre will open to patrons when the facility is safe to do so. Updates will be provided on the District of Oak Bay’s website at www.oakbay.ca and through Oak Bay Parks, Recreation and Culture’s social media channels.
