Garbage & Recycling
Bi-weekly garbage, kitchen waste & recycling collection is automatically provided for all residential property owners (excludes single family homes on private streets). This service is included in resident's yearly tax payments and all residential property owners pay the same amount of $210. The residents on the kitchen waste test program pay $212.50. The recycling programs in Oak Bay and throughout Greater Victoria are coordinated by the Capital Regional District.
Additional hazardous material and recycling is also provided through several 3rd-party organizations.
