This month’s Friends of Uplands Park bird walk is taking place Saturday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. in the main parking lot of Cattle Point. Spring migration is in full swing and some of their target species will include Band-tailed Pigeon, Rhinoceros Auklet, Marbled Murrelet, Cedar Waxwing, Black-headed Grosbeak and Western Tanager.
This approved community event is listed for community awareness and takes place within the District of Oak Bay, but is organized by an independent group and not run by the District.
