About the Project
Location: Bowker Creek from Cadboro Bay Road to St. Ann Street
Stage: Concept Design
Construction: Anticipated Summer 2027
Large portions of Bowker Creek are open throughout the District of Oak Bay. Concrete and stone retaining walls mark portions of the creek, accompanied by pedestrian paths.
These railings and barriers are essential to ensure the protection of Bowker Creek alongside pedestrian safety. The current wood posts and metal chain are at the end of their service life, and this project will help identify and install replacement railings.
