Equipment Operator II
Regular Full-Time ($32.44/hour – 2024 Rates) Pay Grade 3

The Equipment Operator II position encompasses a variety of work which includes the operation and basic daily maintenance of heavy equipment. The primary role of this Operator is to operate a street sweeper and clean catch basins. This role may also perform leaf pick-up, operate a tandem or single axle truck, collect and load garbage, transport materials to the landfill, transfer station or processing facility. Additionally, the Equipment Operator II assists with event set up as needed.
Our ideal candidate has some high school education, one year of related experience and a BC Class 3 Driver’s License with an air brake endorsement. This position is represented by CUPE Local 374.
