Celebrating 50 Years of Oak Bay Recreation Centre

In 2025, the Oak Bay Recreation Centre reached a historic milestone, 50 years of serving our community. Since opening its doors in 1975, the Centre has been a hub for recreation, wellness, and connection. 

On this anniversary we celebrate the community and staff and reflect on five decades of growth and shared experiences. From fitness programs and aquatics to cultural events, tennis matches, day camps and community gatherings, Oak Bay Recreation Centre continues to evolve to meet the needs of residents and their families.
