Sewer Work - Runnymede Place (Jul. 22-26)

When: July 22 & early August
What: Victoria Drains, on behalf of the District of Oak Bay, will be conducting Cured-in-Place-Pipe Lining (CIPP) for sanitary sewers on Runnymede Place.
Where: Runnymede Avenue
Traffic Impacts: Single lane alternating traffic. Some areas of Runnymede Place will have no street parking during project.
What is CIPP Lining?
CIPP Lining is a method of construction that is trenchless and involves little to no digging, taking less time to complete than other sewer repair methods. A tube is installed in an existing sewer pipe, and once in place, is inflated to fit tightly inside. It is then cured or hardened to create a new plastic pipe within the old pipe.
