In-accordance with the declaration made by the federal government on September 13, 2022, the District of Oak Bay will observe a National Day of Mourning and a federal national holiday in honour of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday, September 19, 2022.

Oak Bay Municipal Hall and the Municipal Transfer Station will be closed and the September 19, 2022 Special Council Meeting has been cancelled and will now be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

Oak Bay Recreation will be operating with reduced hours:

• Oak Bay Recreation Centre
  12:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. (the pool hours will be 12:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.)
• Henderson Recreation Centre
  12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
• Monterey Recreation Centre
  1:00p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Registered program participants will be contacted directly if their programs are cancelled.

Please note that garbage will be collected as scheduled.
