In the interest of public safety, a Garry oak tree located between 2396 and 2410 Heron Street will be removed and replanted due to advanced state of decay. The removal will occur during the week of July 13, 2020. The District of Oak Bay’s Parks department will be planting at least one Garry Oak to replace this tree and will plant additional trees along the boulevard on this block of Heron Street.
