Currently, there is no pedestrian access to Windsor park from the west side. This crosswalk will provide a pedestrian connection on the west side of Windsor Park.

The design for the crosswalk at Windsor at Transit Road is nearly complete. Construction is tentatively scheduled for April 2026.
Oct. 31 | Project Background
This project was directed by Council at the July 21, 2025 Council Meeting and aligns with Council’s ongoing commitment to improve transportation options by advancing projects to support low and no carbon transportation options. It also aligns with objectives in the Official Community Plan (OCP) related to infrastructure resiliency.
