Two of Canada’s finest performing in an intimate setting, you can hear the past and present in their instrumentation, their stories and their songs.  Doug Cox was initially drawn to the blues, particularly bottleneck slide guitar. He soon discovered the dobro which has earned him a national and international reputation as one of the best players fusing a wide rage of acoustic roots and American styles.  Linda McRae is a Canadian Nashville based multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter and member extraordinaire of the iconic band Spirit of the West.  Linda’s banjo, guitar and accordion playing is unflaggingly authentic, deeply satisfying and refreshing.  Along with a big dose of soul and skilled musicality, Linda’s unforgettable melodies and thought provoking lyrics make her a captivating artist.
