Join in a bird count on Bowker Creek

A Friends of Bowker Creek members’ benefit.
  

Our ace birder, Adam, conducts regular bird counts along the creek in Oak Bay. He invites FoBC members to come along on the survey and get to know the birds in our Biodiversity Corridor.

Choose one of these three Sundays:

Meet at the duck ponds footbridge, just downstream from Oak Bay High School at 9:00 am. The count may take 90 minutes.

•    Or before the walk (8:45) onsite.
Our 2022 personal or family membership fee: only $10.00 (cash, credit card or cheque)

Wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring binoculars if you want to.
 
Adam is a middle school student at Monterey. As a Friends of Bowker Creek volunteer, he initiated the habitat renewal project in the duck ponds in 2019. He is a skilled bird photographer and is active as a bird bander with Rocky Point Bird Observatory.
