Curious about how the municipal budget gets developed?  Wondering where Oak Bay is at in the strategic planning and budgeting process?  

Strategic planning, budgeting and preparations for the Draft Financial Plan are all underway. Several strategic planning sessions have already been held, the 2019 Citizen Budget online survey has been completed and the District is moving forward with next steps.

Public feedback is a key element of these processes.  On March 28, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. we invite you to partcipate in an Open House to learn about municipal budgeting, the 2019 Draft Financial Plan and how these documents link to strategic planning. The session will start with an open house, then move to a more formal presentation at approximatley 6:30 p.m.  There will be opportunities to review information and provide comments to Council and staff.
