Special Voting Opportunities

2018 General Local Election

In order to give electors who may otherwise be unable to vote an opportunity to do so, where in the opinion of the Chief Election Officer a special voting opportunity is required, the Chief Election Officer is authorized to establish a special voting opportunity and to set the date, place and times for the special voting opportunity. These are special voting opportunities for eligible voters residing at or attending the following locations:

Friday, October 12th, 2018
Oak Bay Lodge, 2251 Cadboro Bay Rd.
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Friday, October 12th, 2018
Shannon Oaks Baptist Housing, 2000 Goldsmith Rd.
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday, October 17th, 2018
University of Victoria Student Union Building, Michele Pujol Room.
Polls open 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

What if I Need Assistance to Vote?
If required, an elector is eligible to utilize the assistance of a translator or an individual to mark the elector's ballot in instances of mobility limitations. All requests for assistance will be made at the voting place and our trained Election Officials staff will be happy to assist you. Further questions may be directed to the the Deputy Chief Election Officer.
