Seeking Input on Cadboro Bay Road Bike Lanes

September 21, 2017

The District has commenced a public feedback period about the proposed bicycle lanes on Cadboro Bay Road from Foul Bay Road to Bowker Avenue.  Completing bicycle lanes in this corridor is a Council strategic priority.  After a feasibility study was completed and two primary design options were developed, Council and staff are seeking public feedback prior to moving to the next phase of the project.  There are several factors to consider when weighing the options for bicycle lanes, including the designs themselves, the construction costs, the impact to on-street parking, and more.

This initial period of public feedback period is expected to continue until the project is discussed at the Committee of the Whole on October 16, 2017.  Meeting begins at 7pm and is held in Council chambers.
