Oak Bay Municipal Council welcomes expressions of interest from residents who wish to volunteer their time as members of the following Council appointed Working Group.

HERITAGE CONSERVATION AREA WORKING GROUP

The District of Oak Bay is seeking to fill two volunteer positions for the recently initiated Oak Bay Heritage Conservation Area Working Group.

The Oak Bay Heritage Conservation Area Working Group will work with Council, District staff, consultants and the community to explore the possibility and make recommendations to Council on potentially establishing a Heritage Conservation Area and related policies and regulations for a proposed area defined to date as being bordered by Oak Bay Avenue, Beach Drive, Prospect Place, San Carlos Place and York Place.

The District is seeking to fill two “Community-at-large” positions. The intent of the District is to fill these positions with people who live outside the proposed Heritage Conservation Area described above.   

HOW TO APPLY

Please complete an application form, available electronically on our website (www.oakbay.ca ) or pick up a paper copy from the Corporate Services counter at the Municipal Hall. You may also include a cover letter and/or a resume to provide additional information.
