The District of Oak Bay will be replacing 220 metres of 100 mm diameter water main on Lincoln Road between 2265 Lincoln Road to Estevan Avenue.  The installation of the new pipe is expected to begin early June 2022, and the work is expected to be completed by end of September 2022. 

The District will be dropping off material on site starting the week of June 6.While Public Works are on site, residents can expect an increase in noise, dust, and the movement of construction equipment.  To enable the work to proceed as efficiently as possible, we ask that you refrain from parking along this section of roadway when work is underway, and we ask that you park your vehicle(s) on your driveway. 

Over the course of the project the District will be available to assist you with any specific needs.  Please do not hesitate to call the District if you have any special requirements.

This work is part of our on-going infrastructure improvement plan that will improve the integrity of the water supply system for domestic use and for fire-fighting purposes.

Once the water main is completed, paving of the road will take place and the District will send out notices that will provide more details on this work.
