Friends of Oak Bay have partnered with the organizers of Garagellenium and are excited to host the Garagellenium Family Picnic, to take place on the rear green space and parking lot of the Oak Bay Municipal Hall on Saturday, June 8th from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Children will be delighted with free access to bouncy houses, freezies and water. This will provide a place for families to rest and stretch their legs during their morning of treasure hunting, or stop for a cost effective lunch option from the Spice Aid food truck, which will be on location, sith all proceeds go to charity. All lunch options have been geared towards families with children lunches for a dollar. There will be tents with minimal tables and chairs, though all food options are easily eaten while walking or standing if you wish to continue on your journey. There will also be light musical entertainment.
