Subject to the provisions of the British Columbia Local Government Act, an official community plan is a statement of objectives and policies to guide decisions on planning and land use management respecting the purposes of local government. The required content of an official community plan is outlined in Section 877 of the Act, in addition to discretionary inclusions.
